Do You Have Your Sights on Taking Your Company Public Someday – A Book Review

11月 29, 2009 · Posted in 未分類 · Comment

Although this is an older book, it is one that I would highly recommend because much of the information is quite timeless, and although there are sections about SEC filings for IPOs (initial public offerings), and there are forms which are no longer any good, all the other information is completely worthy. Understanding stock pricing, reporting, underwriting, and all the potential alternative ways to finance a fast moving start-up are here also such as; bank loans, SBA loans, venture capital and even corporate R&D partners are Paramount.

VC Funding Hard to Find, But 90% of New Start-Ups Do Not Deserve Funding Anyway

11月 26, 2009 · Posted in 未分類 · Comment

Many entrepreneurs are claiming that venture capital has completely dried up. Financial analysts, who watch the venture capital arena note that there is only between 10 and 20% of the venture capital available today, as there was prior to the global economic financial meltdown. That is to say, it is neat to 90% dried up, and without that venture capital funding, many small business startups do not have the money it takes to develop new innovations and concepts, and bring them to market.

11月 17, 2009 · Posted in 未分類 · Comment

One thing I have found as the coordinator for a think tank is that we are constantly learning about new concepts, ideas, and inventions.
